KanColle the Anime was an anime adaption of the browser game of Kantai Collection which was broadcasted in Japan from January 8th till March 30th of 2015. The main story of the series focuses on the character development of Fubuki and how she changes through her time in the naval base as she grows and matures while become acquainted with some ship girls in her journey.

In addition the Anime series has received an official announcement that Funimation Stuido will be releasing an English dub + sub of the anime series on Blue-Ray / DVD this Summer. [1]. The video is to be released on June 27th, 2017.

Summary:

With the emergence of the mysterious Abyssal Fleet, humanity had lost it's naval supremacy. However, there is a presence that can fight back. Ship girls. Those whom possess souls of ships from days past.

Special Type I Destroyer Fubuki arrives at a 'Naval District'. This place is gathering versatile ship girls as a home & workplace. She begins her life there with a perky greeting, 'I'm Fubuki! I look forward to working with you!'
