Sandbox Rules

This sandbox is to be used to construct an event guide for the above mentioned event map. These guides are to all of the following requirements:

  • List of branching unlocking requirements (If there are multiple requirements, compositions for each path along with the below requirements will be needed to discuss the unlocking requirements in question)
  • A list of working compositions that work: (These must have possible alternatives for players who may or may not have all ships needed for a specific path)
  • The Path said composition will take (To explain what path the composition will take)
  • A summary or description of what kind of obstacles a composition will face.
  • A description of the boss node, what it consist and a descriptive guide on what the player should consider for a course of action to successfully win the battle.
  • (Optional) Tips to farm to take path to collect certain ships (This will also require a composition, path, and possible description.

Editors are to construct their own version of their guide and complete them in a timely fashion.

No other editors are to allowed to edit over other editor's work without the full consent of the editor and his approval to do so.

Several version will be constructed through this page and will be reviewed and approved by the staff/ collaboration committee before being moved for the Summer 2020 Event which it'll be reviewed and updated once more before it can be released.

Overall there will be 3 versions of the guide that will be constructed which will include:

  • Preliminary Guide
  • Polished Guide
  • Finalized Guide

With each approval of each version of the guide, the said guide will be updated to the main page, and construction of the next version will begin.

All guides outside of the approved version will be removed and work will begin from the approved version to make it better for the next version until the finalized version is made.

General Overview

  • Make sure you have completed the event quest which unlocks the Strike Force for fleet 3.
  • This map utilizes the  [Blue Tag]2nd Special Squadron and  [Green Tag]Force H
  • The LBAS Location will change once Phase 1 is completed. Refer to the LBAS Range map for the changes in combat radius before and after Phase 1.

Phase 1: TP Phase

  • Composition:  [Blue Tag]2nd Special Squadron Striking Force Fleet: 0-1 AV, 1-2 CL(T), 4-6 DD, Akitsumaru Fast
    • Route: 1 A C D F I

  • Composition:  [Blue Tag]2nd Special Squadron Striking Force Fleet: 0-1 AV, 1-2 CL(T), 4-5 DD, 0-1 XX FAST
    • Route: 1 B C D F I
  • Note: XX can be another AV or Shinshuumaru but not Akitsumaru. Refer to the first composition if you're using Akitsumaru for the sortie.

  • Composition:  [Blue Tag]2nd Special Squadron Striking Force Fleet: 0-1 AV, 1 CVL, 1 CA, 1 CL, 3-4 DD FAST
    • Route: 1 A C D1 E G F I
  • Note: Having a CV(B) will force C D D1 routing. A FAST+ fleet will nullify this.

  • It is recommended to use the Shinshuumaru/AV comp or the Akitsumaru comp. If you are not able or don't want use those, use the alternative fleet comp.
  • Phase 1 LBAS range to I= 4
  • Phase 2 LBAS range to I= 3
  • I air power: AP/AS = 93/207 for (HARD)

Phase 1.5: Unlock Node W

    • Ship restrictions: AV + CVL <= 1, AV + CVL + CA(V) <=2
  • Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H STF: 2 BB, 1CV OR 2 CVL, 1-2 CA(V), 0-1 CL, 0-2 DD + 2 CA(V), 1 CL, 3 DD with anti-installation nukes
    • Route: 2 J L O P R T S
      • Note: Much heavier composition with one extra node before reaching S
  • LBAS range = 3 for S, AP/AS = 66/147 for (HARD)

  • Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H CTF: 1 BB, 1 CV, 2 CAV, 2 CVL + 1 CL, 1 CA, 4 DD
    • Route: 2 J L O P R Q
  • LBAS range Q= 4, AP/AS = 143/321 for (HARD)
  • It is recommended to send your LBAS to O to help your fleet pass. Alternatively you can fighter sweep R for the (HARD) unlock.

  • Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H STF: 2 BB, 2 CAV, 2 CVL + 1 CL, 1 CA, 4 DD
    • Route: 2 J K M
  • Malta LBAS range = 6, AP/AS = 155/348 FOR (HARD)
  • Note: Load as many fighters and SPF as you can on your ship. You can either send LBAS with fighters to the node or bomb the previous node to increase the passing rate.

  • This is the same composition as when you are doing node Q & S for the first composition recommendation for node S
  • Bring fighters on your carriers for AS if you failed to AS while doing Q requirement.

Phase 2: Defeat Summer Harbor Princess

  • Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H CTF : 3 CV, 2 CA(V), 0-1 DD, 0-1 CL + 2 FBB, 1 CL, 0-1 CA(V), 2-3 DD FAST
    • Route: 2 J K M V W
    • Alternative STF Composition that goes the same route as the CTF one if you choose to save your carriers.
      • Alternate Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H STF : 3-4 (F)BB, 0-1 CV, 0-1 CA(V), 0-1 CL + 1-2 FBB, 1-2 CA(V), 1 CL, 2 DD FAST
  • Malta LBAS range = 6, AP/AS: 66/147 for (HARD)
  • Note: The Summer Harbor Princess is an installation. In order to defeat this boss, it is key that your fleet contains anti-installation equipment.
    • If you are using CV, using European planes on carriers will have a bonus against Summer Harbor and can possibly kill her with a crit.

Phase 2.5: Unlock Node Z

To unlock the 3rd boss, Z, you need to :

  • Composition:  [Blue Tag]2nd Special Squadron Striking Force Fleet: 1 CVL, 1 AV, 1 CL, 4 DD
  • Route: 1 A C D1 E H or 1 A C D1 E G
  • LBAS: You can either send LBAS to D1 to assist with passing through the node. Or set them up as LBAS Defence for the AS requirement to unlock Node Z.
  • Note: It is possible to use the same fleet in order to complete all 3 requirements in 2-3 different sorties.
    • E is a choice node. The player can choose to either go to G or H for both the requirements.

Phase 3: Elinimate the Mediterranean Fleet at Z

You can reach Z from both of the spawn points.

  • Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H STF : 0-1 CV, 0-1 (F)BB, 1-2 CA(V), 2 CL, 1-2 DD + 1 CL, 4-5 DD, 0-1 CA
    • Route: 2 J L N P X Z
  • Routing for this comp is the same as FAST+ but have less firepower at the boss than the FAST+ comp
  • Support Expedition is highly recommended to both routes to the boss and win against the boss.

  • Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H STF : 2-4 (F)BB, 1-2 CVL, 1-2 CA + 1 CAV, 1 CA, 1 CL, 3 DD
    • Route: 2 J L O P X Z
  • Regular composition without having to rely on Fast+. The routing will be much harder because of passing through O which compose of PT Imps & Supply Depot Hime.
  • Node Support is highly recommended to help pass-through O & X

  • Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H CTF : 4 CV, 0-1, 0-1 CA(V), 1 CL + 0-2 FBB, 1 CL, 2-5 DD, 0-1 CA (Fast+)
    • Route: 2 J L N P X Z
  • This composition requires to have 10-12 RE'd ships in order for ships to both be able to go Fast+ & keep their combat capabilities.
  • The routing goes to N instead of O.

  • Malta LBAS range = 6, AP/AS = 92/207 for (HARD) and 184/414 on LD. Send all your bases to the boss.
  • Note: Note: For your carriers, it's recommended to use European/American bombers as those planes have a historical bonus against the boss.

Phase 3.5: Debuff

  • Composition:  [Green Tag]Force H STF: 2 BB, 1CV OR 2 CVL, 1-2 CA(V), 0-1 CL, 0-2 DD + 2 CA(V), 1 CL, 3 DD with nukes
    • Route: 2 J L O P R T S
      • Note: Much heavier composition which will force you one extra node before reaching S
  • Malta LBAS range = 3, AP/AS = 66/147 for (HARD)

  • You can S do Node X along with Y in the same sortie
  • It's highly recommended to bring support expeditions as this node contain a Re-Class BB
