Sandbox Rules

This sandbox is to be used to construct an event guide for the above mentioned event map. These guides are to all of the following requirements:

  • List of branching unlocking requirements (If there are multiple requirements, compositions for each path along with the below requirements will be needed to discuss the unlocking requirements in question)
  • A list of working compositions that work: (These must have possible alternatives for players who may or may not have all ships needed for a specific path)
  • The Path said composition will take (To explain what path the composition will take)
  • A summary or description of what kind of obstacles a composition will face.
  • A description of the boss node, what it consist and a descriptive guide on what the player should consider for a course of action to successfully win the battle.
  • (Optional) Tips to farm to take path to collect certain ships (This will also require a composition, path, and possible description.

Editors are to construct thier own version of thier guide and complete them in a timely fashion.

No other editors are to allowed to edit over other editor's work without the full consent of the editor and his approval to do so.

Several version will be constructed through this page and will be reviewed and approved by the staff/ collaboration committee before being moved for the Summer 2020 Event which it'll be reviewed and updated once more before it can be released.

Overall there will be 3 version of the guide that will be constructed which will include:

  • Preliminary Guide
  • Polished Guide
  • Finalized Guide

With each approval of each version the guide, the said guide will be updated to the main page and construction of the next version will begin.

All guides outside of the approved version will be removed and work will begin from the approved version to make it better for the next version until the finalized version is made.

Projected deadline for Initial guide: May 14th, 12:01 JST (May get extended by 1 day if massive delays occur)

General Information

This map has three ship locks:

  • Orange Tag: 2nd Torpedo Squadron (Single Fleet)
  • Grey Tag: 8th Fleet (Single Fleet, with CA(V) flagship)
    • Starting point unlocks after Phase 1 is cleared
    • Only really used for one unlocking gimmick
  • Yellow Tag: Combined Fleet (Combined Fleet)
    • Same starting point as Orange Tag, but tagged with Combined Fleet Tag when sortied as a Combined Fleet (STF or CTF)

E3-1

Phase 1 is a TP Phase, with 350/350/500/750 points required on Casual/Easy/Medium/Hard at HQ 120

Route: Route: A C G F I J L M N or A C E G F I J L M N

Fleet: 0-1 CL, 5-6 DD (A fleet with a CL will off-route to node E on Hard Mode; 6 bonus DDs recommended for Hard.)

A total of 0/?/3/4 drums, each equipped on different ships, are required on Casual/Easy/Medium/Hard for this route.

Recommended LBAS distribution:

  • 2 LBAS with 4x LBAA each to boss (7 Range); OR
  • 1 LBAS with 4x Toukai/ASW to C (2 Range), 1 LBAS with 4x LBAA to Boss.
  • (Dunno if anyone's desperate enough to fighter sweep E/G or to send LBAA to J, I personally would not recommend.)

Support expeditions are not required, especially if Vanguard is being used (see below).

Generic AACI (API 5?) is sufficient for G. Vanguard formation is recommended at J & L. S-Ranking the boss is not strictly necessary, but if desired, the new Torpedo/SLO+/Torpedo and/or Torpedo/SLO+/Drum cut-ins may be useful.

E3-1.5

Unlock Node W has 2 requirements

  • AS Node B & O2
  • S rank Node O3 & O1

    • Composition: Combined Fleet (CTF): 2 CV(L) + 1 CL, 2 DD
    • This composition will force a Yellow Tag
    • Route: A B D O2
    • LBAS: AP/AS Node O2 Hard: 169/380. AP/AS Node B Hard: 160/359. Range 4 to reach Node O2.
    • Note: Fill your LBAS with fighter and send to the node to help secure AS. You can also have all your CVL fill with fighters only as you will pass through 2 air raid node total.

    • Composition: Single Fleet: 2 CA(V), 1-2 CL, 2-3 DD
    • Route: P B O1 O2
    • LBAS: Range 3 and there's no air at the node
    • Note: O1 contains New Submarine princess along with 2 other submarine. Bring toukai to try and have them bomb the node and have your fleet with OASW do get the S rank for the requirements.

The objective here is to take down the enemy combined fleet at Node W

  • Composition: Surface Task Force Combined Fleet (STF): 2 CVL, 2 FBB, 1-2 CA(V), 1-2 CL + 1 CA, 1 CL, 4 DD
  • Route: A C E G Q R V W
  • LBAS: Range 7. AP/AS for Hard: 180/405. LD: 191/429.

This is an Alternative composition where you will take a similar route to the other composition with the exception you will go from Q to S instead of Q to R

  • Composition: Carrier Task Force (CTF): 2 CV, 1 FBB, 1 CA(V), CL + 1 CA 1 CL 4 DD
  • Route: A C E G Q S U W
  • LBAS: Range 7. AP/AS for Hard: 180/405. LD: 191/429.

E3-2.5

To unlock Z, you will only need to AS Node H

  • Composition: Transport Combined Fleet (TCF): 0-1 CVE, 1CAV/AV, 4 DD + 1 CL 3 DD
  • Route: A C E G F H
  • LBAS: Range 5 AP/AS for Hard: 160/359
  • Note: Set up your LBAS with fighters only and send them to Node H to help secure AS. In addition, have your CVE and CAV/AV with full fighters and Seaplane Fighters for AS.

E3-3

This is the final phase for this map and MO. The aim is to kill the Lungga princess and obtain Northampton as a reward. There is a Debuff options for this boss if players choose to do

  • Composition: Single Fleet: 6 DD OR 1 CL 5 DD (EASY AND CASUAL ONLY)
  • Route: A C G F I X M Z
  • LBAS: Range = 8. The boss has no air.
  • Note: In order to route to the boss, it is essential for you to be bringing drum canisters as part of your fleet setup.

Lungga Hime Debuff Phase

You can do all these steps in any order you like to. There are 6 requirements for you to do after you got the boss to Last Dance

  • S rank the Boss at Node W
  • A rank the Boss at Node N
  • S rank node O1 and O3
  • AS Node H
