    • As the boss node already has battleships, it's not necessary to bring one, unless F node's closing torpedo salvo gives you problems. In this case, make sure you can obtain air superiority or supremacy in all nodes.

Tips

  • All destroyers should be remodeled, equipped with double attack setup and have their stats maxed (with the exception of AA).
  • Use Line ahead in boss node.


Standard Compositions

  • Each fleet composition below has a chance of avoiding Node H if specific conditions are met:
    • 6 DD has a 50% chance of avoiding Node H
    • 1 CL 5 DD have a 30% chance of avoiding Node H


Speed Enhanced Compositions

  • By using equipment such as turbines and boilers, you can also avoid Node G and H (See Improving Ship Speed for additional details on how to improve your ships speed performance when considering the below options)
    • Fast+ fleet that consists of 1CL 5DD and is equipped with 1 Radar will always bypass node H
    • Using a Fleet of ships that can go Fastest will give them a 50% chance of avoiding going to Node G and instead take Node E
      • Ships such as Shimakaze and Tashkent can easily reach fastest without lots of boilers, however all other DD will need 2 of New High Pressure, High Speed Boilers to achieve Fastest which can only be achieved through Amatsukaze or expensive engine improvements.
    • A Fast Fleet consisting of 1 AO, 1 XX, 4 DD has a 40% chance of avoiding node H and 40% chance of going to Node E


Ammo Farming : 1 XX (as long as ship is not a (F)BB(V) or CV(L)(B)

  • This map makes it possible to farm ammo which you can earn anywhere between 50-155 ammo. The process to gaining ammo is simple and it is recommended to use a throwaway ship to save on spending resources while completing the take.
  • The following steps must be taken to ensure this can be completed:
    • Equip throwaway ship with Repair Team
    • Send this to Node A and lose the battle
    • Select to use repair team onward.
    • Reach Node B and get ammo
  • NOTE: The Repair Team is not consumed while doing this process as this is the only battle you go through and your repair team is only consumed if you enter a 2nd fight. Since there is no 2nd fight, the repair team remains equipped on your throwaway ship.
  • Once complete, remove Repair Team from said ship and rinse and repeat as you gain ammo at an alarming rate.
  • Additional Note: This process will cause your Sortie Win/Lose Ratio to drop over time if you do not have a large sortie participation number. Please carefully consider doing this practice if you are relatively new as it could risk your chance in participating in Events if your sortie % rate drops to below 75%.

Tips

  • On this map, no matter which path you'll take you will be hitting a maelstrom node. It is recommended to have some radars equipped on 1-3 ships to minimize the loss of your fuel while you travel through this map.
  • This is also an excellent map for farming Mutsu for her 41 cm guns to upgrade equipment


Recommended Fleet

  • 1 [(F)BB(V)+CVL] 1 CV(B) 2 [CA(V)+CLT+AV] 2 DD routes A-C-G-M
    • Quickest path in the north route. Most Enemy units will consist of moderate to light weight ships except for G which will have some carriers and Ru-class BBs, but having the properly trained fleet should help bypass this node with minimal issue.
  • 1 [(F)BB(V)+CVL] 2 CA(V) 1 CL 2 DD routes A-B-F-J-K-M
    • Going the bottom path to the boss, this will save bauxite cost, but will cost more fuel and ammo along with possible buckets due to the number of encounters you'll face.
    • CA(V) can be replaced with CLT


Furniture Coin Box Collecting

  • Collecting Furniture Coins in the South Path (Routing A - B - D or A - B - F - H) requires a light fleet: 3 CVL 2 DD 1 [CA(V)+CLT]
    • This fleet should be strong enough to help you survive the battles on the way to Nodes D and H to get Furniture Coin Boxes, however there is a chance you'll avoid both nodes. In this case, consider retreating once you hit Node K.

Recommended Fleet

  • D - H - L - J - P

      • Given shortest and fastest path to the boss node, you will only face one battle and a maelstrom node. Keep in mind however that it will be a small fleet vs. a Heavy Fleet at the boss node, but your fuel and ammo will be at a very high percentage making it possible to likely evade attack more efficiently.
  • A - C - E - G - J - P
    • 2 CV, 2 CVL, 1 AV, 1 CL
      • Allow you to use a heavier fleet against the boss fleet. Most battles should be straight forward until you reach the boss. There is also an bauxite node on the way should you get to it.
  • A - C - F - J - P
    • 1 CVL, 2 CV, 2DD, CL (All Fast+)
      • Only 2 battles before boss, but requires Turbine and Boiler to form a Fast+ fleet.
      • Recommended to bring radar to reduce the loss at the maelstrom node F.

Tips

  • To complete the map, you will need to defeat the flagship (Tsu-Class Light Cruiser) 4 times. Upon completing this task you will be rewarded with 150 points and a medal. The map will reset at midnight JST at the beginning of every month.
    • The map will also stay in Final Form once you cleared it until the next month reset. Therefore, it's recommended to do all 3-5 quests pre-clear for easier time, as doing them post-clear can make the job much harder.
  • LoS requirement
    • For G-K (south) ≥ 28 F33 Cn4
    • For H-K (north) ≥ ~40 F33 Cn4
  • Middle route (B-E-H-K or F-E-H-K) is not recommended, not only does this require an awkward fleet composition (either a CL 2 DD in a heavy fleet or a BB/CV in a light one), E node presents two Ru-Flags that can potentially damage any of your ships.


Recommended Fleet

  • North Route (B-D-H-K)
    • 3 [(F)BB(V)+CV(B/L)], 3 XX (XX being any CA(V), SS(V), CLT, CL or DD)
      • Ships that are specialized in AACI such as Maya Kai Ni or Akizuki-class DDs can be used to protect your fleet on the way to the boss node
  • South Route (F-G-K)
    • 1 CL + 5 DD / 1 AV + 5 DD
      • Regarded as the 'standard' composition, this is the strongest possible composition that is guaranteed to reach the boss via F-G-K, assuming LoS requirements are met. It is recommended to try the south route with this composition first.
      • Sparkling is recommended for lower level DDs as you are unlikely to kill or disable all enemies in preboss nodes, which can lead to closing torpedoes critically damaging the low-armored DDs if not evaded.
    • 1 AV + 1 CL + 4 DD / 2 AV + 2 CL + 2 DD / 3-4 AV + 0-1 CLT + 2 CL
      • Sacrifices guaranteed routing, but in exchange for opening strikes, and possibility of Air Parity (Air Superiority with Mizuho Kai or seaplane fighters) at G node on the final clear.
      • There is a risk of getting sent off-course to node B. Players may opt to refresh the game if sent to B.
    • Hayasui Kai + 2 AV + 1 CLT + 2 CL
      • Takes you along the path of B-C-F-G-K
      • Arming Hayasui with a SCAMP and some Torpedo Bombers will help her aid by getting a better chance to do some damage in battle.
      • Seaplane Tenders should be armed with either Seaplane Bombers or Seaplane Fighters
      • CL and CLT such as Abukuma, Kitakami and Ooi are preferred to help wipe out the enemies easier.
      • While it's more expensive in comparison to other compositions, this is also more likely to ensure your survival to the boss node.
