Disastrous failure at E-3, didn't have enough buckets & trained ship for it.

Satisfaction level: Very high, I didn't plan to clear & drop anything at all.

Goals:

- Get my loved ships and have only my desired fleet instead of collecting them all

- Buy lots of slots (lazy enough huh)

Long Story Short:

Read only if you are curious because it's not interesting at all, okay ?

Well, I know KanColle for approximately 7 months, I can't exactly tell when I did get the information about its existence. Apart from that, I am just your casual shy punmaker who plays Taiko, Touhou, and a bunch of old games like crazy, nothing interesting here. I remember the time where my friends were doing their shit and criticized the game harshly. I didn't take part in it and just ignored the whole "drama". But fate decided not to give up. They began to play the game and appreciate it, like "ooooooh those girls are cuuuuuute" or something like that. (Can't tell if tsundere or not.)

After 2-3 months, we were in the middle of August, one of my friends told me about the game system and such. Then I traveled in order to get more information about the game. I closely took a look at each ship, and the only one who stayed in my mind was Hibiki. As a real silver-hair worshiper, I began to admire her for absolutely no reasons. Each pretext was good to talk about how "awesome" she was. Without a doubt, I was literally bewitched. My motivation was her. My anger was because I knew I'd wait even longer to have her close to me. So, after 3 fails at the lottery, I was close to the mental breakdown, but for various and combined reasons. (I am not exaggerating, hahaha.)

One of my friends decided to give it a try in my stead. He won the lottery instantly and choose the appropriate starter on my demand. I was so grateful and excited that I couldn't resist against the envy to cry very loudly because I know that I was one step closer to my objective.

My first days were actually terrible. I accidentally crapped the poor Sazanami I just built (via the tutorial) and had to rebuild one again (It wasn't the same). It took me ~1 week to play properly without checking the wiki every minute. It really was a pain, but in the end, I felt somewhat proud. Not to mention that I used the API method in order to play, which is not really recommended for starters. (As of today, I'm on KCV.)

My real first motivation was to marry Hibiki. I naturally had to go through many steps before that. Get her, make her able to farm reliably, make her reach the Kai Ni, do all the marriage quests and finally marry her. My goal has been fulfilled 2 months after. The date ? October 31st. Yeah. The downside of that was that I trained her and only her alone, the others were at a very low level. My HQ level was high, the Fall Event was coming, and my resources were quite low at that time....

Everything was set to make me fail. I had to farm the rest very quickly. Finally, the fated day arrived, I was in a hurry and felt stressed as heck. I passed E-1 with a 100% kill ratio, and only that fact calmed me a bit. E-2 however, was a pain. I wasted over 200 buckets in this map. Hopefully, a ton of drops welcomed me for my efforts, and Destroyer Hime eventually sunk after 6 hours of sortie. This happened in one day. After that, I tried E-3 and got sent to the base several times with no kills. I ran out of resources, trained shipgirls, buckets, EVERYTHING. It was already the end for me. I didn't really care that much, because I already got a bunch of rare drops and cleared 2 maps (the half, yus.)

After that, my motivation got pumped a bit. For now, I'm looking for a few long-term goals. I am willing to spend some money in this game because I love it. As mentioned above, I really want to reach Gensui once, just to show how hopeless I am when I want something for real.

That's all I guess. My sentences are not perfect (maybe there are some typos also) sooooo, don't hesitate to correct me if you want to. Seeya around ! o/
