Introduction

独自開発された「特殊潜航艇」、その後期改良型のさらなる発展型です。
従来の甲標的を大型化、航続距離や通信能力を強化、搭乗員も5名に拡張、艇首に45cm魚雷発射管2基を備えるミニ潜水艦に近づいた強化発展型甲標的です。
本来はその戦局から艦上での運用を前提の設計でしたが、改良型の本艇は同運用に対応した水上艦での積極運用が可能です。

This was an independently developed "Special Submarine" that was an improvement over the previous late-model.
It is an enlarged version of the Type-A Midget Submarine with increased cruising range and communications capability. With the crew count increased to 5 members and 2 bow-mounted 45 cm torpedo tubes, this is closer to a mini-submarine than an improved midget submarine.
It was originally designed to be operated from a ship, but this improved model can operate independently to support other ships.

Mechanics

Minisub Midget Submarine allow any ship equipping one to perform an Opening Torpedo Salvo. Their main stat is the "torpedo" stat, being used to calculate damages in all torpedo phases.

They do not count as "Torpedoes" for Night Cut-Ins, despite having a torpedo icon.
