Introduction

独自開発された「特殊潜航艇」、その後期改良型です。甲型を拡張、発電用ディーゼルエンジンを搭載した乙型をさらに改良熟成しました。
甲標的母艦や新型の水上機母艦、そして潜水艦などで運用可能です。元来は艦隊決戦を補助する攻撃型兵器でしたが、後期の戦域では防御用兵器としても運用され、反復出撃を実現、奮戦健闘した部隊も存在します。

A late model of the domestically produced "Special Midget Submarine". An enlarged Type A with a diesel turbine that makes it better than the Type B. It can be operated from midget sub tenders, a new model seaplane tender or submarines. It was originally meant to be an offensive support weapon during the decisive battle, but it was used as a defensive weapon in the latter stages of the war; the units fought bravely over many sorties.
