Introduction
戦艦装備用の大型探照灯です。
夜戦時に敵に照射することで味方艦隊の攻撃を支援できますが、照射艦は敵艦隊からの集中攻撃を浴びるリスクがあります。
(戦艦級のみが装備可能です)
Large-scale searchlight fitted for battleships.
Shining the searchlight at the enemy can assist friendly ship's attacks during the night battle, but there is risk of having the enemy focus their fire on the user.
(Only battleships may equip this)
Mechanics
Searchlights are used to trigger a special Night Battle mechanic when equipped, playing a special animation and applying the following effects:
- Attack accuracy and cut-in rates of the fleet are increased.
- Cut-in rates of the enemy fleet are decreased.
- The enemy fleet will target and hit the ship that triggered the searchlight more often, see here.
The activation rate is 100% on ships with 2 or more HP, 0% otherwise.
- Multiple ships equipped with searchlights do not have stacking effects.
Has a slightly different activation animation (namely, brighter light), and a higher "focus rate" than the small Searchlight.
Increases the trigger rate of the Kongou-class Special Attack.
