Introduction

遠距離砲撃戦における秘密兵器「九一式徹甲弾」改良版、「一式徹甲弾」。
本徹甲弾はそのさらなる改良版です。
本改良徹甲弾は弾頭炸薬を増量し、被帽頭を再設計したif強化弾です。
海中突入後魚雷のように敵艦水線下に突き進む喫水下破砕を企図した水中弾能力も強化、もちろん弾頭部に弾着観測用着色剤を充填。
戦艦・航空戦艦・高速戦艦で運用可能です。

The "Type 1 Armor-Piercing Shell" is an improved version of the "Type 91 Armor-Piercing Shell" that was meant as a secret weapon for long-ranged shelling.
This AP shell is a further improved version.
This what-if upgrade of the AP shell has a larger bursting charge and a redesigned cap, and it was designed to cut through the water to hit enemy ships below the waterline like a torpedo.
Of course, dye caps were also included to help spot the shots.
It can be used on battleships, aviation battleships, and fast battleships.

Mechanics

Armor-Piercing Shell AP Shells are mainly used for increasing the general damage potential of batleships, with further bonuses for Artillery Spotting and Special Attacks.

  • They also play some Anti-Installation role, notably against "Hard-Skinned Installations".
