Introduction

早くから潜水艦との闘いを経験した紅茶の国の研究チーム、Anti-Submarine Detection Investigation Committeeで開発された対潜探知システムです。
「ASDIC」と呼ばれた同システム群は進化を重ね、今日のアクティブソナーへと発展していきます。
124型は大戦初期から運用されていた駆逐艦に搭載されました。

An anti-submarine detection system developed by the research team, Anti-Submarine Detection Investigation Committee, from the country of tea that had early experience fighting submarines.
The system called "ASDIC" would evolve into modern active sonar.
The Type 124 was mounted on destroyers at the start of the Great War.

Mechanics

Sonars are the main equipment used for ASW, being required to trigger most OASW, and greatly enhancing ASW Damage Synergy. Their main stat is "ASW" .

Armor Penetration
Indepentant of synergies, some equipment provides additional armor penetration to ASW attacks. The affected equipment are: DCR: Type 95 DC, Type 2 DC, Lightweight ASW Torpedo, Hedgehog, Type 2 DC K2 DCP: RUR-4A Weapon Alpha Kai, Mk.32 ASW Torpedo (Mk.2 Thrower). [math]\displaystyle{ \text{Mod}_\text{ship} }[/math] being 1 for DE, 0 otherwise, Note Armor penetration from equipment stacks, The final armor of the targetted submarine cannot go below 1.
