Analysis

Tatsuta Kai

Priority: Medium-Low

At first remodel, she has destroyer-tier Torpedo, slightly higher Firepower but cannot equip seaplanes, making her one of the few light cruisers unable to perform Artillery Spotting, thus limiting her efficacy in surface combat.

Her low resource consumption makes her very suitable for expeditions, though.

Furthermore, a decent ASW stat makes her able to perform OASW at high-but-before-marriage levels with proper gear.

Tatsuta Kai Ni

Priority: Medium-Low

Her second remodel actually makes her firepower go down, but grants her a sizeable ASW increase allowing for easier OASW and a great +31 AA boost, meaning that using her in an anti-air role in a pinch is also possible.

Please note that, while she gains her own unique Anti-Air Cut-In attack, it is inferior to the standard one, albeit it could find some use in rare occasions.

Unlike her sister Tenryuu, she can now be loaded with Daihatsu, making her even more suited for expeditions and potentially useful to attack installations.
