As opposed to [[Searchlight]], this equipment doesn't apply a malus effect on the ship equipping it, but the above effects are not guaranteed to trigger, this means that it can fail.<br>Equipping more Flares in your fleet will increase the chances it will trigger drastically.<br>Can be used in combo with [[Searchlight]].
