Standard Aircraft Carriers (CV) notably utilize Dive Bombers, Torpedo Bombers, Fighters, required to take part in both Aerial Combat and regular Combat, with their "plane slot" stat being the most important. They:

She is named after the Battle of Saratoga.
She was launched on the 7th of April 1925.
Sunk by atomic bomb test, on the 25th of July 1946.
Wreck sits upright in Bikini Lagoon only 15 m (50 ft) below the surface, and is a popular scuba dive site.
- One of only three dive-able aircraft carrier wrecks in the world.

She was added on the 18th of November 2016 as Fall 2016 Event E5 reward.
Was added to the LSC construction pool on the 12th of September 2017.

Misc

Her dark dress in her Kai and Mk.II mod.2 forms is a reference to her time as a dedicated night battle carrier.
The "E" on her funnel is a reference to the Engineering Excellence Award her crew won in 1938.
