A prototype triple cannon for battleships that was domestically produced by the Kure Naval Arsenal Artillery Division.
A little larger than 16 inches, the 41cm cannon was the largest battleship cannon in the world until the 46cm cannons of the Yamato-class.
Equipped on the Nagato-class battleships, they had higher firepower and accuracy than the rest of the 'Big 7' at the time.
