Introduction
主力戦艦の主兵装として、米国で開発運用された標準的な戦艦用大口径主砲です。
南太平洋海戦に機動部隊と共に参加、さらに南方ソロモン海域で日本の高速戦艦や水雷戦隊と激しい夜戦を演じた米高速戦艦「South Dakota」の主兵装となった兵装の強化改修型です。
This is a large-caliber main gun developed and deployed by the US as the standard issue main weapon of their front-line battleships.
This is the new and improved version of the main gun of the USS "South Dakota", who participated in the Pacific War with a carrier task force, and fought a fierce night battle with a Japanese fast battleship and torpedo squadrons in the Southern Solomon Sea.
Mechanics
Main Guns
are the main armament used by surface ships. Their main stats are the "firepower" 
and "accuracy" 
. They are notably required to trigger all Artillery Spotting attacks as well as some Night Cut-Ins, notably the "Double Attack" (DA).
- Most main guns come with "Hidden Fit Bonuses/Penalties", especially larger ones.
