Introduction
大和型戦艦のために開発された射撃&電探兵装です。
特注の大型光学15m二重測距儀と、その上に熟練した技術者が調整を重ねた精度の高い21号対空電探を配しています。
大型かつ重量もあるため、戦艦の艦橋上部構造物のみに装備可能な光学及び電波兵装です。
A radar that was made mainly for the Yamato-class.
It uses its 15 m long optical to find the distance between yourself and the enemy, and includes an improved model of the type 21 anti-air radar.
Owing to its size, this radar can only be equipped on battleships and needs to be mounted on the upper bridge of the ship.
Mechanics
Radars are used to provide boosts to LoS 
and accuracy 
. They are additionally used for:
- Certain Artillery Spotting,
- Certain Night Cut-Ins,
- Maelstrom resource loss mitigation,
"Dual Purpose Radars" are radars that are both Surface Radars and Air Radars.
SurfaceSurface Radars are radars that:
- Must have 5 or more LoS ,
- Are required for some Routings,
- Metigate the accuracy penalty of Smoke Screens,
- Increase the damage potential of most Special Attacks.
Air Air Radars are radars that:

- Can be put in the RE of the Yamato-class Kai Ni/Juu,
- Have additional bonuses for the Yamato Special Attacks,
- Are required for AACI n° 42, 43, 44, & 45.
