A ship based squadron equipped with Type 52 Model C Zero Fighters commanded by the skilled Petty Officer 2nd Class Iwai.
The firepower and armour of the Type 52C was upgraded in order to counter new enemy planes.
Although the manoeuvrability suffered slightly, it can be covered by the skilled piloting of the pilots.
