A state-of-the-art carrier borne fighter developed as the successor to the high-performance "Zero", the "Reppuu". Using the high-altitude interceptor "Reppuu Kai" as a base, this is a further improved version of the Reppuu that removes the oblique guns and increases it's effectiveness in dogfighting and anti-bomber roles, the two-seater "Reppuu Kai Ni". This is an elite what-if night fighter "Reppuu Kai Ni" squadron, enhanced with a plane-based radar that is crewed by skilled pairs from the 1st Carrier Division.
