*The sword on her back is a nod to the Ame-no-murakumo-no-tsurugi ( "The Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven"), more commonly known today as Kusanagi-no-tsurugi (The Grass-cutting Sword"), one of the three pieces of the Imperial Regalia of Japan - akin to the Crown Jewels of the UK. Murakumo's name means "Gathering Clouds" or "Massed Clouds" in keeps with IJN destroyer naming conventions.
