The stock equipment is a reference to her real life FAA assigned spotter seaplane which was a Fairey Swordfish Mk.I Seaplane variant (K8363/c8c "Mitzi' of the Fleet Air Arm). This plane was in fact heavily armed and served her well during the Battle of Mers El Kebir.
