*There is some discrepancy as the English Wikipedia entry states it was HMS Formidable that sank her but Royal Navy Archives state that Formidable sent planes to Shiogama. Meanwhile it was HMS Indefatigable that sent planes to Kesennuma, Kakuda, and Hachinohe. Japanese records and US Records coincide that TF 38 elements: USS Essex and USS Randolph and their planes were the ones who dealt the final blow on Inagi.

*The Kancolle Summer 2023 E-3 Map 八戸の盾 "The Hachinohe’s Shield" is dedicated to her and is her actual nickname. This is based on her actions on the 9th of August 1945 wherein she drew the fire from multiple aircraft for several hours until she was sank giving time for people inland to seek shelter.
