A specialised anti-aircraft shell used with the main guns of battleships and other large vessels.<br>
This shell is a late-model upgraded variant of the Type 3 Incendiary Cluster Shell, a type of shrapnel shell that was developed to annihilate the enemy in a single salvo of exploding submunitions.<br>
It's effectiveness against soft-skinned ground targets has been improved. This what-if upgrade that incorporates lessons learned during the war has increased effectiveness on Yamato-class and Kongou-class Kai Ni.<br>
It also has better countermeasures against spontaneous combustion.
