Though obsolete at the outset of World War 2, the Type-A gun mounted on the Special Type I destroyers was the forerunner of modern destroyer guns.</br>
Using the Type-A as a base, this is a what-if upgrade that extends the barrel length and increases muzzle velocity.</br>
It is among the destroyer main guns with the highest firepower thanks to several upgrades that focus on increasing surface combat ability.</br>
Though the basic design has limitations, it is capable of limited anti-air combat. This is the predecessor to the next generation of 12.7cm guns.
