In certain maps, you are able to access Land-Based Air Squadrons(LBAS) to support your fleets. You can assign land-based planes, carrier-based planes and seaplanes to these bases. Autogyros and liaison aircraft are exceptions and may not be assigned. These squadrons can then be used to attack selected nodes or defend the base.

Autogyros and liaison aircraft cannot be assigned. These squadrons can then be used to attack selected nodes or defend the base.   

Currently LBAS is only available in 6-4, 6-5 and events.
