;General Information
* Named after the [[wikipedia:Perth|City of Perth]].
* She was launched on the 27th July 1934n as "HMS Amphion".
* She was transferred to the RAN in 1939 and renamed as "HMAS Perth".
* Sunk during the Battle of Sunda Strait, on the 1st of March 1942.
* Wreck discovered by Australian businessman David Burchell in 1967; she lies on her starboard side at a depth of about 35 m (115 ft) and was a victim of illegal salvage in late 2013.
