神戸生まれの鬼怒だよ。舞鶴の学校で訓練に励んだんだ。色々と大変になってきた後は、南西方面で頑張ったよ…いやぁ、大変だったなあ。球磨ちゃんには随分と助けてもらったんだ。でも…パナイ島だけはマジパナイ！ | Born in Kobe, I'm Kinu! I trained well at the Maizuru School. After lots of dangerous things happened, I did my best in the Southwest.... Well, that was bad too. Kuma-chan was suprisingly helpful too. But... Panay Island was seriously panai! | Kinu was use as a training ship from '34-'35; she was used to escort the Southwestern Area Fleet's transport mission. Kuma was docked with Kinu when she came under attack by bombers. She was sunk near Panay Island. The last bit is a pun - "Panay" sounds a bit like "panee", slightly dated slang for "awesome". | |
