Barrage Balloons can be deployed in certain situations during day battles.

This mechanic is still under investigation!

Once deployed:

• For every ship with a balloon equipped will boost the damage of the fleet (post-cap):

• The effect stacks up to 3 ships.
• The effects do not stack for multiple balloons on a same ship,
• The effect applies only to day shelling (not to torpedo or night battle)
• Possible to trigger on:
  • 3-5 node H^[1]
  • 4-3 boss node N^[2]
  • 4-5 boss node T^[3]
  • Summer 2023 E5 nodes L1, L2, O
  • Summer 2023 E6 nodes C2, Q
  • Summer 2023 E7 nodes A5, H, P, U, Z
  • 7-5 node Q is not possible^[4]
• It has been reported that Heavy Bombers can negate Barrage Balloons effects.[citation needed]
