This time I'll go on ahead... Sakawa... Nagato... see you... A reference to Operation Crossroads. Where Nagato, Sakawa and herself were used as targets for nuclear tests. Sakawa and Nagato sunk during the Operation but Prinz survived. Although she capsized after being towed away.

Trivia

  • Her name translates to "Prince Eugene" in German.
  • Towed to Kwajalein Atoll after Operation Crossroads before being capsized December 1946, thus making her one of the Kriegsmarine ships who survived World War II.
