The Fall 2017 Event is scheduled to begin during the Month of November. This Event is titled "Showdown at Operation Sho-Go! Battle of Leyte Gulf (Part 1)".
This event will focus on the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Unlike previous events, the Battle of Leyte Gulf will be split into two separate events. The Fall Event will be Part 1, while the Winter 2018 Event will be Part 2 of the event. It has been confirmed that the final map of Part 1 will be related to the Battle of Surigao Strait.
It is not currently known if this has any gameplay / game mechanic implications; the page will be updated if/when more is revealed.
Details about the event mentioned in the KanColle Naval Review, Kensuke Tanaka's interview in November's Comptiq, and the interview in December's Comptiq have noted that the event will feature the Akizuki-class Destroyer Suzutsuki and several other "smaller ships".
The current scale of the event is known to be Medium Scale. There will be a total of four maps.
Recent tweets as well as updates to voice lines and CGs indicate that the event will involve the Battle of the Surigao Strait.
Additional information regarding event-related subjects and content will be revealed by dev tweets and other materials.
