日振型の次級である、鵜来型以降に装備され、海上護衛や対潜哨戒に威力を発揮しました。
A more concentrated deployment of Type 3 depth charge launchers, in order to counter the growing threat from enemy submarines. An impressive shipborne weapon for submarine suppression, able to throw 6-8 charges per side for an impressive total of 12-16 charges.
