* Her nickname is Furei.
* She was launched on the 22nd of July 1944.
* Surrendered on the 2nd of September 1945, stricken on the 30th of November 1945, and finally sunk as target on the 23rd of May 1946.
* Wreck located on the 16th of February 2009 in 800 m (2625 ft) of water off Barbers Point, Oahu, Hawaii. She is in two pieces; the bow lies on its port side, neatly sheared off from the main hull, which sits upright at a 45 degree angle.
