At Guadalcanal, we gave an enemy ambush a beat down under the famous command of Rear Admiral Raizo Tanaka.<ref>Reference to the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Tassafaronga Battle of Tassafaronga], where Tanaka's fleet of 8 destroyers were ambushed by Rear Admiral Wright's U.S. fleet of 5 cruisers and 4 destroyers. Tanaka lost a single destroyer to the surprise attack, but the retaliatory torpedo salvo sank 1 cruiser and heavily damaged 3 more; allowing the IJN fleet to esacpe.</ref>
