Missions for sending (usually) destroyers and light cruisers on in exchange for resources. You don't get to see any combat like in sorties. One of the main sources of income.

Missions for sending [usually] destroyers and light cruisers on, in exchange for resources. There is no combat during expeditions, so you won't have to worry about losing any of your ships. You will, however, need to resupply their fuel tanks once the expedition is finished. Also, it is one of the main sources of income.
