The Winter 2016 Event is speculated to take place in February. As revealed in September 2015's issue of Comptiq, the event will be based on an IJN counterattack conducted in the winter. Current speculation is that it will be a mid-sized event of 5-6 maps and relatively hard. Admirals are encouraged to start preparing for the event if they are not already.
The Winter 2016 Event is planned to take place in early February. It has been confirmed that the event will be inspired off of '''Operation Rei-Go''' which was a one
day battle that took place along the '''Mindoro Island''' where an IJN counterattack was conducted in the winter on December 26th, 1944.
The Event is planned to be a small scale event, which will allow you to choose a difficulty much like previous events. It's been noted that hard level difficulty will be more difficult compare to usual maps.
